Bulls coach Johan Ackermann has had an epic career in rugby, both as a player and a coach, and he says the cherry on the top for him is the Bulls’ comeback victory over the Warriors at the weekend to book a spot in the United Rugby Championship final.
The Bulls will play Leinster at Croke Park in Dublin in a fortnight.
“This must be right at the top,” a beaming Ackermann said after the 22-21 win. His team had held Glasgow scoreless in the second half as they came back from 21-3 down to score 22 unanswered points.
“I’m actually lost for words. I couldn’t believe we had won when the whistle went.
