Traffic in Athens was heavily disrupted Friday, with major delays reported on key highways and arterial roads across the capital.
On Kifisos Avenue, northbound traffic from Renti to Metamorfosi moved at very low speeds, causing significant congestion.
The Attiki Odos motorway also experienced delays in both directions, including more than 45 minutes of delay toward Elefsina between Paiania and Metamorfosi, and 10–15 minutes toward the airport between Metamorfosi and Kifisias.
Additional slowdowns were reported on Kifisias Avenue near Marousi and along sections of Vouliagmenis Avenue.
Traffic in central Athens was also sluggish, with motorists advised to expect continued delays throughout the day.
