The trial of former Minister of Power, Olu Agunloye, over the alleged fraudulent award of the $6billion Mambilla Power Project contract continued on Thursday before Justice Jude Onwuegbuzie of the Federal Capital Territory High Court in Apo, Abuja.
This is as a prosecution witness insisted that the Federal Executive Council record presented by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is authentic.
The sixth prosecution witness, Iliya John Iyakwari, while being cross-examined by Agunloye’s counsel, Adeola Adedipe (SAN), rejected suggestions that there exists another extract of the Federal Executive Council meeting of May 21, 2003 different from the one marked Exhibit EFCC 3K, which he had certified and which had earlier been admitted in evidence.
