A teenaged driver has been arrested in northwestern Athens for causing havoc in the small hours of the morning Thursday by playing music full blast on a souped-up car stereo, authorities said.
A police statement said the 19-year-old suspect’s car was stopped in the Ano Liossia suburb and found to be rigged with 14 loudspeakers and two amplifiers, which all contributed to cause a massive racket.
The suspect faced charges of causing a disturbance. The loudspeakers and amplifiers were confiscated.
