‘Kumari Festival’ to be held at Triveni Sangamam in Kanniyakumari from June 26 to 30.Kanniyakumari District Collector M. Prathap announced that the ‘Kumari Festival,’ organised by the Tourism Department would be celebrated in a grand manner.He said that Tourism Department and district administration has been taking various measures for the development of tourist spots in the district such as Kanniyakumari, Muttom, Lemur Beach, Pechiparai dam, Mathur aqueduct, Thirparappu falls and several others to improve the experience of tourists.Mr. Prathap noted that, as part of measure, ‘Kumari Festival’ has been organised for five days from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. with various cultural performances.The collector has requested the members of the public and tourists to attend and grace the occasion.
