Bulls No 8 Cameron Hanekom will be a crucial cog in their power game against Leinster on Friday evening.
Leinster head coach Leo Cullen believes the Bulls’ game plan in the United Rugby Championship (URC) final will be built around set-piece dominance and power, but he is also wary of their attacking threat ahead of the Dublin showdown.
In a repeat of last year’s final at Croke Park, the two powerhouses will lock horns again (8.30pm kick-off) as the hosts look to become the first side to win back-to-back URC titles. The Bulls, meanwhile, are determined to end their finals hoodoo in what will be their fourth attempt at lifting the trophy.
The stage is set for an epic battle in Ireland to cap off another excellent season for the competition.
“It’s a huge game between two very good teams, and it will be about what happens on the day,” Cullen said ahead of the final.
