Gigabyte is introducing three new mini PCs with Intel Core Ultra (Series 3) Panther Lake chips inside. Available with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 386H 16-core mobile processor, the little computers may not have the discrete-class graphics you’d get from Intel Core Ultra X chips, but you do get plenty of expansion and I/O features in a compact package. The new Gigabyte BRIX systems measure 119 x 113 x 34mm (4.7″ x 4.4″ x 1.4″) and support up to 128GB of RAM, up to two M.2 SSDs, and support 2.5 GbE LAN and WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.There will be three models available at launch. The entry-level Gigabyte BRIX GB-BRU5-322 features an Intel Core Ultra 5 322 6-core processor, while the GB-BRU7-355 has a Core Ultra 7 355 octa-core chip. Both of those models have two SODIMM slots for up to 96GB of DDR5-5600 memory (or DDR5-6400 if you use CSODIMM).The top tier model is the GB-BRU9-386H, which has a 16-core Intel Core Ultra 9 386H processor and support for up to 128GB of DDR5-6400 memory. Each model has two M.2 2280 slots for storage, one with support for PCIe 5.0 x4 speeds and another that tops out at PCIe 4.0 x4. There’s also an M.2 2230 E-Key slot populated by a RTL8922AE wireless card.Ports include:2 x USB Type-C (w/DisplayPort 2.1 Alt Mode)1 x USB3.2 Gen 2 Type-C3 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A1 x USB 2.0 Type-A1 x 2.5 GbE LAN (Intel I226LM)2 x HDMI 2.11 x 3.5mm audioAll three models come with a USB Type-C power adapter, but the 6- and 8-core models have a 100W version, while the 16-core model comes with a 140 watt adapter. That makes sense, because while all three models have chips with a processor base power level of 25 watts, the Core Ultra 3 and Core Ultra 5 versions support up to 55 watts of maximum turbo power, but the Core Ultra 9 386H processor supports up to 80 watts, so the higher-capacity power supply should provide a little more headroom for memory, storage, peripherals, and other hardware even when the processor is running hot.via AndroidPC.es
