Danladi had reportedly been held without trial for more than four years before his arraignment.
The Department of State Services (DSS) has been accused of denying a youths leader, Ntari Danladi, access to legal representation after arraigning him in court.
Danladi had reportedly been held without trial for more than four years before his arraignment.
According to sources, when he was brought before Court 15 of the Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday, June 15, 2026, for the first time since his arrest, DSS personnel allegedly prevented his lawyers from gaining access to him, insisting that only the Department of Public Prosecutions (DPP) could authorise such access.
"The DSS personnel denied his lawyers entry into the court stating that only the DPP can order legal representation for him," a source told SaharaReporters.
