The first seaplane flight between Greece and Albania, operated from Ioannina to Vlorë, marks the start of a new model of connectivity in the Mediterranean.
The Hellenic Seaplanes mission is the first air link between two southeast European countries using a seaplane and is regarded as a milestone in developing a broader network of maritime air services in the Ionian and Adriatic region.
The initiative follows an official invitation from the Albanian authorities and forms part of a broader framework of cooperation for the development of seaplane infrastructure and new cross-border transport corridors.
