Leinster wing Tommy O’Brien says the champions will have to produce their best defensive performance of the year if they are to keep out the “desperate” Bulls in Friday night’s United Rugby Championship final in Dublin.
Leinster are aware of the state of mind of a Bulls team that has lost three URC finals and will want to avoid a fourth nightmare at all costs.
“They will be desperate for sure, and unbelievably hungry,” O’Brien said.
“They’ve come so close and unfortunately haven’t managed to get over the line,” he told the media on Monday. “We understand that they’re going to be highly motivated coming up here.”
