A 19-year-old man was in intensive care after being seriously wounded in a stabbing during an attempted robbery in Athens’ Patissia district.
Authorities said the attack occurred Tuesday shortly after 10 p.m. when an unidentified assailant approached the victim in what investigators believe was a robbery attempt.
During the incident, the suspect allegedly stabbed the teenager in the chest, causing life-threatening injuries.
The victim collapsed at the scene and was taken to hospital by a friend before being admitted to the intensive care unit at Aglaia Kyriakou Children’s Hospital, where he remains under close observation.
Police are searching for the attacker or attackers.
