A 31-year-old man has died on the eastern Aegean island of Chios after he was allegedly stabbed by his uncle during an argument.
The incident occurred early Thursday when the victim and his 51-year-old uncle became involved in a dispute. During the altercation, the older man allegedly stabbed his nephew in the abdomen.
The victim was taken to Chios General Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Police have arrested the suspected assailant and an investigation into the circumstances of the killing is underway.
