Ukrainians are capable of developing effective solutions in the defense sector faster and with lower costs than European companies, and Europe should learn from its Ukrainian counterparts.

Line Rindvig, CEO of the defense startup accelerator Defense Builder, stated this in an interview with Ukrinform.

"Europe has much to learn from Ukraine, particularly how to create highly effective solutions with significantly smaller budgets. I am often surprised that European startups at the same stage raise three to five times more funding without producing better results. The reason is simple: Europe operates in peacetime, while in Ukraine this is not about profit – it is about survival," Rindvig said.

She believes the fundamental difference is that for Ukrainians, innovation is a matter of survival, whereas in the West it is a business activity.
