The Take-It-Back (TIB) Movement has announced a nationwide civic action scheduled for June 12, 2026, citing worsening insecurity, economic hardship, alleged state brutality, and concerns over the protection of fundamental rights in Nigeria.
In a public notice on the planned nationwide gathering, expression, and public concern, the movement said the action would draw attention to what it described as critical issues affecting citizens across the country.
According to the group, “Democracy is meaningless when citizens live in fear, poverty, and uncertainty.”
TIB said key issues for the June 12 action include growing insecurity and reported cases of abduction across several states.
