According to him, the party is the only political platform genuinely interested in returning the country to an era of mass industrialisation.
The African Action Congress (AAC) candidate for the House of Representatives seat representing Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency, Abiodun Oyekan, has pledged to champion the revival of Okitipupa Oil Palm PLC and pursue policies aimed at reducing unemployment in the constituency.
In a statement issued on June 6, 2026, Oyekan said the AAC remained committed to restoring Nigeria's industrial base and creating jobs for millions of citizens.
According to him, the party is the only political platform genuinely interested in returning the country to an era of mass industrialisation.
"Our revolutionary socialist political party, the African Action Congress (AAC) is the only political party that is interested in returning Nigeria to the era of mass industrialization," he said.
