The Pietermaritzburg High Court proceedings were disrupted this week when a woman, claiming to be a Zulu Royal Family princess, acted unruly towards a judge.
Court proceedings involving Zulu King Misuzulu kaZwelithini and the Ingonyama Trust Board (ITB) at the Pietermaritzburg High Court were rudely disrupted, and a presiding judge was whisked out of the courtroom when a woman associated with the Zulu Royal Family allegedly acted unruly.
According to the Chief Justice’s spokesperson, Lusanda Ntuli, the same woman also disrupted proceedings at the Labour Court in Durban on Wednesday, leading Judge President Edwin Molahlehi of the Labour Court and the Labour Appeal Court to condemn the behaviour.
The woman who allegedly caused the commotion in Durban and Pietermaritzburg is the same one heavily criticised for referring to the KwaZulu-Natal police spokesperson Colonel Robert Netshiunda as a “kwerekwere” during a protest march in front of a police station on January 28, for which she later apologised.
On social media, she normally claims to be a Zulu princess and a member of the Zulu Royal Family.
