In view of track renewal on Madurai–Dindigul section, Southern Railway has partially cancelled a pair of express trains between Erode and Sengottai for a month.A release from Salem Railway Division said train no. 16845 Erode–Sengottai Express, scheduled to leave Erode Junction at 2 p.m., will be partially cancelled between Dindigul and Sengottai from June 7 to July 6, except on Tuesdays (June 9, 16, 23 and 30). The train will run only up to Dindigul and will not operate between Dindigul and Sengottai on the notified dates.Similarly, train no. 16846 Sengottai–Erode Express, scheduled to leave Sengottai at 5.20 a.m., will be partially cancelled between Sengottai and Dindigul from June 8 to July 7, except on Wednesdays (June 10, 17 and 24 and July 1).
