Maintenance work of railway tracks at Unjalur railway yard on the Erode–Karur section will lead to partial cancellation and regulation of a few trains on June 20 and 22.A release from Salem Railway Division said Train No. 56809 Tiruchi–Erode Passenger, scheduled to leave Tiruchi Junction at 7.25 a.m., would be short-terminated at Karur on both days. The train would run only up to Karur and would not operate between Karur and Erode.Train No. 16846 Sengottai–Erode Express, scheduled to leave Sengottai at 5.20 a.m., would also be short-terminated at Karur on June 20 and 22. After completion of the engineering works, the train would be operated as an unreserved special service from Karur to Erode with the same stoppages as the regular express train.Train No. 16845 Erode–Sengottai Express, scheduled to leave Erode Junction at 2 p.m., would instead originate from Karur Junction at 3.05 p.m. on the two days.
