V. Deepanavisveswari, formerly Executive Director, ELCOT, assumed charge as the Thanjavur Corporation Commissioner on Thursday. Being an IAS officer she served in different capacities in the State administration since 2019 and now heads the Thanjavur civic body which was upgraded as Corporation in 2014.
