Priority for better amenities, says new Commissioner of Tiruchi Corporation

Veer Pratap Singh assumed office as Commissioner of the Tiruchi City Corporation on Monday.Prior to this, Mr. Singh was the Deputy Secretary to the Government (Protocol), Public Department. He succeeds L. Madhubalan, who has been transferred and posted as the Collector of Namakkal in a recent shuffle of bureaucrats in the State.Mr. Singh said he would give priority to improving basic civic amenities for residents and addressing public grievances effectively.Mayor M.
