The Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA) is set to develop land acquired from 161 farmers in Ramavaram and GS Agraharam into state-of-the-art model layouts, Metropolitan Commissioner N. Tej Bharat said on Wednesday.Chairing a review meeting with farmers, along with engineering, planning, and estate officials at the VMRDA office, Mr. Tej Bharat said that the authority has prioritised the development of these two layouts. He assured farmers that the VMRDA is committed to their welfare and will ensure early allotment of plots.The proposed layout aims to set a new benchmark for urban development in the region. It will feature 100-feet-wide roads to ensure seamless access to the sites. They will also include modern amenities such as parks, designated children’s play areas, and aesthetically designed entrance arches creating a model residential environment.The Commissioner has directed the engineering and planning departments to work in close coordination to expedite the project.
