Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA) Commissioner Tej Bharat on Friday said that the VMRDA would sanction ₹9.9. crores for developmental activities, including construction of new parks, roads and others in Vizianagaram city. Along with Vizianagaram Municipal Commissioner B. Bala Swamy, he held a review meeting at the Corporation office and took feed back from engineering officials and others. Speaking to media on the occasion, he said that the Authority would sanction additional funds if the Corporation puts forth concrete proposals. He added that a dedicated road network from Vizianagaram to Bhogapuram international airport would be developed in near future, while referring to the extension of existing roads from Visakhapatnam to the airport region in phase-1.
