The special court for POCSO cases has awarded five years imprisonment to an old man who sexually misbehaved with a 6-year-old girl.According to prosecution, Xavier alias Boom Boom Xavier, 57, sexually misbehaved with a 6-year-old girl from a village under Valliyoor police sub-division in 2024. Based on the complaint from the victim’s mother, the All Women Police, Valliyoor arrested Xavier under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.Special Court for POCSO Cases Suresh Kumar awarded five years imprisonment to Xavier and imposed a fine of ₹5,000 on him on Tuesday.
