The Special Court for Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act has awarded 20 years imprisonment to a 58-year-old man for sexually assaulting a minor girl.
According to prosecution, Muthaiah, 58, of Thambupuram near Nanguneri abducted a minor girl and sexually assaulted her in 2022. He was arrested by All Women Police, Nanguneri under POCSO Act based on the complaint from the victim’s mother.
