Congress leader Gidugu Rudraraju on Monday demanded Prime Minister Narendra Modi to fulfil the promises made during the bifurcation of the State, urging to release a White Paper on the implementation status of all funds, projects, institutions, appointments, and rights due to Andhra Pradesh under the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014.In a post on X, the Congress leader said 12 years have passed since the enactment of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014, but several commitments and statutory obligations made to the people of Andhra Pradesh remain unfulfilled.The people of Andhra Pradesh are still waiting for Special Category Status, full funding and completion of Polavaram Project, Kadapa Steel Plant, Industrial Corridors and Infrastructure Projects, Educational and Medical Institutions promised under the Act, employment opportunities through central projects and investments and release of all funds and implementation of all assurances promised during bifurcation.
