The Telangana government on Monday (June 1) announced the names of 632 personnel for police service medals and pathakams to be conferred on the award winners on the occasion of Telangana Formation Day.A total of 631 police, vigilance and enforcement, anti-corruption bureau, special protection force and fire services personnel were selected for various categories of pathakams in recognition of distinguished, outstanding and good service. The awards include Telangana Police Shourya Pathakam, Telangana Police Mahonnatha Seva Pathakam, Telangana Police Uttama Seva Pathakam, Telangana Police Katina Seva Pathakam and Telangana Police Seva Pathakam.The government said the awards were conferred based on recommendations received from the Director General of Police, the Director General of the Anti-Corruption Bureau, the Director General of Vigilance and Enforcement, the Director General of the Telangana Special Protection Force and the Director General of Telangana Disaster Response and Fire Services.In a separate order, the government announced one Mukhyamantri Sarvonnatha Police Pathakam, taking the total number of awardees to 632.
