Ilerioluwa Adeyemi Ajayi has emerged as the African Action Congress (AAC) candidate for the Ekiti Central 2 Federal Constituency, covering Efon, Ekiti West and Ijero local government areas.
Ajayi, a former vice chairman of the AAC in Ekiti State, described his emergence as an opportunity to address what he called years of poor governance and to advance policies focused on education, youth empowerment and social inclusion.
Speaking after securing the party’s ticket, the AAC candidate said he was committed to advocating for improved living conditions for residents, particularly young people and vulnerable groups.
According to him, his agenda includes the construction and rehabilitation of constituency roads, development of primary and secondary school infrastructure, and the promotion of transparency through the digitalisation of government spending.
