Indonesia launched a methane mitigation project on Thursday in cooperation with South Korea and the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI), becoming the third country in ASEAN after Malaysia and the Philippines.Dubbed the ASEAN-Korea Cooperation for Methane Mitigation (AKCMM), its implementation will be coordinated through the National Work Forum with a focus on policy strengthening, emission monitoring system, developing financially viable projects and strengthening regional dialogue.
