District Collector C. Dinesh Kumar inspected a series of works currently under way in Hosur Corporation limits. Works on the flyover and the expansion of the railway bridge were inspected and scouting for a new location to relocate the sub-registrar’s office was also discussed.Inspecting the works on the flyover near the Bathalapalli vegetable market, Mr. Dinesh Kumar instructed officials to ensure that the works are carried out without much inconvenience to the commuters, especially students. He urged the officials to expedite the works in a time-bound manner simultaneously ensuring quality.The flyover works also entail a link road from the highway to Rayakottai road. This envisions 620 metre road from highway to Kasavukutta and 350 metre road from Kasavukutta to MCC, at a cumulative cost of ₹49.94 lakh. The road works envisions a link to the Rayakottai road at Chennathur and its connecting roads as a direct passage to Bengaluru.Mr. Dinesh Kumar also inspected the sub-registrar’s office on MG Road, where over 70 registrations are carried out on any given day. The highly congested road has called for exploring an alternative site for relocating the office.Earlier, Mr. Dinesh Kumar also inspected the expansion of the railway bridge between Athibelle to Hosur into four-lane bridge in Kothakondapalli.
