Cupra has opened UK pre-orders for the all-electric Raval. Prices start at £23,785 for the Origin variant with a 37kWh battery, while versions equipped with the larger 52kWh battery qualify for the UK Government’s Electric Car Grant.Image: CupraBuilt on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB+ platform, the Raval becomes one of the first production models to use the updated electric architecture. It is the brand’s third battery-electric model after the Born hatchback and Tavascan SUV. First customer deliveries in the UK are expected later this year.The Origin trim combines a 37kWh battery with a 115PS electric motor and offers a WLTP range of 186 miles. Versions with the 52kWh battery (V1, V2 and VZ trims) deliver up to 277 miles of range and support DC fast charging at up to 105kW, enabling a 10 to 80 per cent charge in around 30 minutes.The £1,500 grant applies to all 52kWh variants currently approved, bringing the entry price for those models down to £28,495. The entry-level variant did not make the list.Shortly after the launch in April, Cupra announced the prices for the new Raval. Measuring 4.05 metres long with a 2.60-metre wheelbase, the compact BEV combines sporty proportions with Cupra’s established design language. Sharknose styling, Matrix LED headlights and illuminated flush door handles define the exterior, while the rear features a light strip, illuminated logo and prominent diffuser. Buyers can choose from seven colours and eight wheel designs.To mark the opening of the order books, Cupra is introducing a series of launch incentives for early customers. During the initial launch phase, buyers can access the limited V2 Launch Edition, which adds specification worth £1,500 at no extra cost compared to the standard V2 trim.The manufacturer is also offering free standard metallic paint across the 52kWh range for orders placed by 31 August 2026. Premium metallic and matte paint finishes are available with a £695 discount during the same period, subject to delivery by the end of the year.
