Governor Francis Nwifuru ordered the lifting of Hyacinth’s suspension following widespread public outrage on social media and other new media platforms.
The Ebonyi State Government has announced the reversal of the suspension of Mr Iloke Hyacinth of Community Primary School (CPS) Obulechi Umoru Oriuzor in Ezza North Local Government Area of the state, who was suspended after a viral social media video exposed the deplorable condition under which pupils were receiving lessons.
Governor Francis Nwifuru ordered the lifting of Hyacinth’s suspension following widespread public outrage on social media and other new media platforms.
The decision was conveyed in a media statement issued on Thursday by the Special Assistant to the Governor on New Media, Leo Ekene Oketa.
According to the statement, Governor Nwifuru directed that the suspension be lifted after the matter drew public attention and sparked discussions online.
