Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa State has approved the suspension of a Special Assistant on Education Monitoring in Auyo Local Government Area while reinstating another aide previously suspended in Kafin Hausa Local Government Area.
The decisions, which take immediate effect, were announced in a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Bala Ibrahim, and made available to journalists in Dutse on Thursday through the SSG’s Public Relations Officer, Isma’ila Dutse.
Arewa PUNCH reports that the latest development comes amid political tensions within the ruling All Progressives Congress in the state following recent party primary elections.
Several political appointees, including Special Advisers and Special Assistants, had earlier been suspended over alleged anti-party activities in various local government areas.
