Negros Occidental is a 1st-class province in the Philippines. It is part of Western Visayas located in the Visayas. It has a population of 2,623,172 as of the 2020 Census, and a land area of 7,844.12 square kilometers, excluding Bacolod City.

The province is composed of 12 cities and 19 municipalities. Its capital is Bacolod City.

In the 2022 elections, the province had 1,619,236 registered voters, excluding Bacolod City.
