The PDP said insecurity under the current government has moved beyond being a national crisis and has become “the lived reality” of Nigerians.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has slammed President Bola Tinubu’s administration over the worsening insecurity across Nigeria, berating the Nigerian government for failing to protect schools and ordinary citizens from kidnappers and killers.
In a statement issued on Monday by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Comrade Ini Ememobong, the opposition party described the recent killing of a mathematics teacher abducted alongside others from three schools in Oyo State as evidence of what it called the “helplessness” of the Tinubu-led administration in handling security challenges.
The PDP said insecurity under the current government has moved beyond being a national crisis and has become “the lived reality” of Nigerians.
“The killing of the mathematics teacher, one of those abducted from three schools in Oyo State, is yet another indication of the helplessness that has defined the Tinubu-led APC Federal Government in the management of the nation’s security,” Ememobong stated.
