Next week, Al-Fanar Media will start the second course for journalist-influencers in its Gen Z Project. Eight experts and trainers from across the Arab world will lead the sessions.
The course’s goal is to ensure the new generation of journalist-influencers will be able to combine journalistic professionalism with digital skills.
The 30 participants in the course are all Arab university students and recent graduates in journalism and digital content creation. They were chosen from more than 300 applicants from more than a dozen countries across the Middle East and North Africa, as well as Arab students living in Turkey, Germany, and the Netherlands.
The participants were selected with geographical and gender diversity in mind, as well as their prior experience. They come from all over the Arab region, with strong representation from Jordan, Palestine, Algeria, Egypt, Yemen, Iraq, Syria, and Turkey.
