The School Education Department in Coimbatore is set to review the performance of students and schools after the district slipped to 13th rank in Class 12 exam results from fourth place, which it had held for the past four years.
Officials said the review would cover pass percentage, subject-wise performance, centum scores and the performance of government, aided and private schools. Particular focus is expected to be given to schools that recorded low pass percentages and students who require additional academic support.
