It was Iron Man vs. Captain America at the 2026 Oscars on Sunday night — and no one won. Especially not Channing Tatum.

During the ceremony, the second coming of “Captain America: Civil War” almost occurred when “Avengers” alums Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans walked onstage to present the awards for screenwriting.

While Downey got right down to business by beginning to present the nominees for Best Adapted Screenplay, Evans just stared at him, looking awfully salty.

“What did you get me for our anniversary?” Evans finally interjected.

“Dude, hold on, I’m—” Downey said, shrugging him off.
