Before duking it out for gold, Sunday's Oscars attendees likely already faced "One Battle After Another": finding that perfect dress, tuxedo or ensemble in between, dodging the prickly pins of tailors in fittings, and sitting, sometimes hours for perfectly coiffed hair and flawless makeup.

And after a team put the celebrities together – perhaps not dissimilarly to "Frankenstein" – Hollywood's biggest names sauntered down the red carpet outside of Los Angeles' Dolby Theatre, hoping to reign (Marty) supreme on best-dressed lists everywhere.

Stars like Felicity Jones and Chase Infiniti wore pastels. Demi Moore, Nicole Kidman and Teyana Taylor flocked to frocks with feathers.

Here are our favorite looks of the evening, in no particular order.

We'd be telling a very big, not-so-little lie if we didn't reserve a place on the best dressed list for the one and only Nicole Kidman. The "Scarpetta" actress stunned in a strapless Chanel number with feathered peplum and skirt. The look is so good that it makes us blush.
