MILAN — Captain Hilary Knight and the U.S. women's hockey team continue their gold medal hunt today with a preliminary round game against Finland at the 2026 Winter Olympics.

The Americans are coming off a 5-1 rout of Czechia, led in scoring by Hayley Scamurra (two goals), Knight (one), Alex Carpenter (one) and Joy Dunne (one). Meanwhile, this is the first game in Milan for the Finnish women, who won bronze in 2022, after their opening game vs. Canada was postponed by a norovirus outbreak on the team.

The USA is 10-0 all-time against Finland at the Olympics, with a 46-10 edge in goals.
