American athletes wowed at the Winter Olympics on Tuesday and achieved some historic medal wins.

The U.S. women’s hockey team trounced Canada in a 5-0 blowout to remain undefeated in the group stage while “Quad God” Ilia Malinin dazzled fans with another backflip on the ice during the men’s short program in Milan.

Team USA curling duo Cory Thiesse and Korey Dropkin took home silver after a close mixed doubles curling final loss against Sweden. Thiesse also became the first American woman to win a medal in the Olympic sport.

American cross-country skier Ben Ogden snagged silver in the classic sprint, ending a 50-year medal drought for the U.S. men’s team.
