n September 22, two new businesses were quietly formed in Delaware, DT Marks Nashville LLC and DT Marks Nashville Member Corp. Little is known about either, but they’re worthy of remark for their names alone. Both use a naming convention shared with at least 20 licensing ventures registered to Corporation Service Company, the faceless firm the Trump Organization uses to create new entities.
The president’s business has not announced any official plans for a project in Nashville, but it has previously aspired to one. And if this is indeed that, it would be the first new real-estate licensing deal for the president in the United States since at least 2017, as well as another example of how Trump’s political comeback has become an engine of new business opportunities for him. Representatives of the Trump Organization did not respond to requests for comment. Forbes could not confirm the ownership or purpose of the new entity.
