The CEO of Italian pasta company La Molisana said Monday that it was ready to open a factory in the United States in a bid to get around the huge tariffs the United States looks set to impose on their products.

The Department of Commerce has announced it will impose anti-dumping duties of over 91% on pasta from January on top of the 15% duties already in place.

"We will try to talk to the U.S.

administration because it not possible for us to do business with tariffs at 107%," said La Molisana Chief Executive Giuseppe Ferro.
