Sept. 11 (UPI) -- Australia is investigating a U.S. influencer for videos that show him capturing and restraining wild crocodiles in the state of Queensland
Influencer Mike Holston, known online as "The Real Tarazan," posted two videos of him appearing to wrestle with crocodiles in Australia.
"These actions are extremely dangerous and illegal, and we are actively exploring strong compliance action, including fines to deter any person from this type of behavior," the Queensland environment department said.
In one of the videos, which has since gained more than a million likes and has been viwed more than 33 million times since it was posted on Sept. 5, Holston is seen approaching what he said was a freshwater crocodile in shallow water before jumping on and wrestling it. In the second video, he is seen in a marshland chasing after a young saltwater crocodile, where he grabs the reptile.
