The body of a newborn female baby that died in a private hospital in Tiruchi last month and buried at Oyyamari burial ground was exhumed on Tuesday in the presence of revenue and police officials.

The baby was born on May 20 to Radhika of Pulivalam in the district at the private hospital and died the next day, said the police. The baby was buried at the Oyyamari burial ground by its relatives.
