The revenue and police officers exhumed the body of a minor girl who died under mysterious circumstances at Vempadu in Unguturu mandal of Krishna district and sent the samples to Andhra Pradesh Forensic Science Laboratory (APFSL) for examination.Unguturu Mandal Revenue Officer (MRO) Vimala, Gannavaram Circle Inspector Shiva Prasad and a team of doctors exhumed the body and collected the mortal remains on Saturday.The girl, aged 14 years, died under mysterious circumstances at her house on June 28, said Gannavaram Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Kosuri Dharmendra.Some family members buried the body without alerting the relatives and the police.Acting on a complaint lodged by the girl’s mother, the Unguturu police registered a case and took up investigation.
