Availability of the new device could be severely restricted due to high consumer demand and an industry-wide high-end chip shortage. The device is expected to feature two main displays, 12GB of RAM, and a battery upgrade, though it may replace FaceID with TouchID to maintain a slim profile. The design reportedly builds upon last year's iPhone Air, as Apple focuses its September event exclusively on high-end devices.
