The unprecedented deluge on the Nepal-Tibet border has killed more than 900 people and nearly 5,000 are still missing.

More than 100 people remain trapped in a hydropower tunnel in Nepal, while rescuers across the border in Tibet have been forced to withdraw as fears grow of renewed flooding.

Rescuers have reached previously inaccessible areas as Nepal appeals for international aid and continues to attempt to rescue 100 workers trapped in a hydropower plant tunnel.
