384 Tourists, Travellers Missing After Massive Flash Floods Near Nepal-China Border

At least 384 tourists and travellers have been reported missing following massive flash floods that triggered mudslides near the Nepal-China border, while eight people have been confirmed dead. The Nepal Tourism Board said the incident occurred at about 8:30am local time on Wednesday. According to the board, the tourists and travellers were “reported missing from the affected areas.” Massive search and rescue operations have since been launched on both sides of the border as authorities race to establish the whereabouts of those missing.
