Australia's music charts now exclude songs predominantly created by AI, as ARIA enforces a new code to uphold the human nature of artistry in musical creations.

Songs created mostly or entirely by artificial intelligence will be excluded from Australia's official music charts from this Friday.

Brisbane producer Josh Fawaz’s synthetic rework of ‘Like a Prayer’ is set to disappear from the charts under the change made by the ARIA.

Only music deemed substantially human-made will qualify for Aria's charts.
