Amazon will invest two billion dollars in Latin American productions through 2030. This significant investment aims to harness the region's extraordinary talent and audiences. The company plans to double original productions from key Latin American countries. Twenty-five new titles will premiere in 2027 and another twenty-five in 2028. This move follows Netflix's own expansion of original Latin American content.

At its inaugural regional showcase in Mexico City, Prime Video laid out plans to more than double its Local Originals by 2030.

The investment spans original programming and live sports across the region—with more than 25 new titles coming in 2027 alone.
